HELPING CHILDREN IN NEED.

Acclaimed by parents and professionals, The Hospital Activity Book for Children is a national complimentary program where we supply an activity book to the hospitals, medical centers, crisis units and victim services. This activity book is an invaluable resource used to distract and engage our children while they are undergoing medical and emergency treatments in traumatic situations.

These books are created by an Editorial Advisory Panel, which includes Child Life Specialists from both the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton and Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. This ensures that the activities in the book target children between the ages of 4-12 years old. The book is designed for professionals and parents to communicate with children about their thoughts, fears, and concerns while experiencing critical circumstances. The activities range from simple dot-to-dot and coloring pages, to more advanced puzzles.

As proud partners of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Canada, we contribute yearly to help make wishes come true. We also pride ourselves with respect to the strength of our local relationships such as the SickKids Foundation and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Our benefactions to these remarkable organizations allow for funding allocation needed to research childhood illness and disease, as well as the purchasing of lifesaving equipment.

The Hospital Activity Book has been successful for over 20 years because of the generous support of our sponsors and local businesses within the community. The activity books are distributed within designated regions, keeping the sponsorships local and relevant to the participating institutions. Sponsoring businesses are given the opportunity to include their well wishes to the children, acknowledging their support to the families in care.
